These lawyers have picked the wrong judge to try to intimidate by claiming they “might” invoke the state secrets act. Judge Boasberg was the presiding judge of the FISA court, appointed by Chief Justice Roberts. He has strong national security chops.

UPDATE: Boasberg gives the government a day to decide whether it *actually* wants to invoke state secrets privilege, instead of just saying they might (while noting they never mentioned it before), rejecting their other claims. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
