Me watching a film.
1. Start watching.
2. Wonder what I’ve seen one of the actors in before.
3. Google actor.
4. Go to IMDb/their Wikipedia page.
5. Find out every single detail of their entire life.
6. Realise I’ve completely missed the plot of the film and now have no idea what’s going on.

ver missed parts that IMDB made me miss.
Otherwise how would I know that even though George Clooney is rich, idolised, and handsome, at least I'm taller?
Or that Elizabeth Debicki is fabulously 6' 2"?
😊
But I know many are like that and yeah sometimes they will look but maybe towards the end or after!!
Maybe you'll figure it out along the way!!

This weekend I watched an oldie called “It happened on 5th Avenue.” I’d never heard of, and it was good and with a message of caring for the down on their luck.
Once I'm on board with a movie's most basic premise, that's all I want to know. Know when I'll learn the rest? While watching the movie!
Do it all the time.
It's even worse when I *think* I've seen an actor before, but it turns out I'm watching somebody else entirely, and I spend the rest of the runtime wondering who the hell I was originally thinking of. Happened recently with Donnie Yen in John Wick 4.
Every "weird" thing I do, is done by millions of other people in the neurodiverse community. Where weird is actually normal.
I don’t usually stop until I’ve read their entire family history!
Also... "How old is such and such now?" or
"I wonder if such and such is still alive?"
followed by asking Siri.
*proceeds to take 2.5 hours to watch a single episode of The Sopranos*
