So if a potential DOD general counsel worked under Barr - the AG most blindly loyalty to his president since John Mitchell - that Barr connection is disqualifying in Trump's eyes unless Justice Alito essentially countersigns for him. Alito serving as Trump's "political officer" is very troubling.
