I think the press should investigate, report the facts and allow the people to decide. We have already seen, those who own the polls, are biased as are the MSM. Look who gains to not tell the whole story or bias the story. Postmedia owns most Can media and they always pick right wing to endorse
Yes and Kagan clearly stated to Erin Burnett the blatant truth that Bezos is bending the knee to Trump in order to protect Amazon empire. Trump intends to destroy the free press. I'm glad I'm not an Amazon member or regular!
To be clear, not endorsing Harris IS endorsing Putin’s take over of Ukraine and, potentially, Xi's takeover of Taiwan, given recent reporting that Xi pressured El Musky to help Russia against Ukraine. Package deal.
the comey thing did a ttly diff thing it reopened the question of hillary being a criminal and that has an effect on voters until trump is definitively the criminal ig
Cancels as of the end of the last billing period, rather than cancelling immediately and getting a pro rata refund on your subscription fee, so we can't exactly storm out slamming the door behind us.
Bezos, Musk, and loads of other billionaires sure are doing their best to turn society against them. It’d be so easy to use a sliver of their wealth to improve society. If they just did that they’d be universally celebrated. Instead we’re watching super villains become an actual real-world thing.
The WaPo endorsing Harris would move exactly zero voters her way, but still lol at this cowardly shit from the crew that brought us "democracy dies in darkness"
If you try to comment online on the Lewis note, it says to submit a letter via https://wapo.st/letter and Alyssa Rosenberg will read ALL OF THEM and they’ll publish as many as they can.
I get cranky about some of their endorsements. But you are right, they do some good investigative journalism. But they also do a lot cowardly equivocation and appeasement of the GOP business class, which in the end never earns the respect or attention they crave.
Oh yeah! I am furious that they endorsed a Republican judge, for instance. But op-ed pages all pretty much suck and need to go. We don't need opinions. Same with business.
In LA, home of the worst housing crisis in the country, housing reporting is still realtor and developer friendly.
I think there's some Rocky Mountain News people too, aren't there?
The Denver Post took a hard right turn after Rocky Mountain News quit. I cancelled my Post subscription a few years ago, and I'm a Colo Sun subscriber.
Jeff still big mad that he lost a 10 billion dollar "cloud" contract to Bill Gates because Trump percieves Jeff as an enemy. Maybe he should've sold WaPo.... 🤔
Wow, he likes that fat orange felon, good for his ratings and his bank account. As they say “birds of a feather…..”. Shame on you Jeff Bezos, selling your soul for money….
I don’t know if he likes trump, but I don’t think he wants Trump to win because if Trump we’re to put Elon in charge of government contracts as promised, Elon would cut Bezos out of the rocket and electric vehicle industries.
The downside of the resignations at the LA Times and the Washington Post is that now the billionaire owners can fill the positions with more fascist-friendly people.
I cancelled my subscription. Not going to support a billionaire who's afraid to stand up to a fascist, even if it's only depriving him of $3 per month.
RESPECT. someone who has decency and morals. All the corporate media worries about is money and ratings. Shame on them. Vote blue up and down the ballot 💙💙

You wanna print/not print based on corp input?
Then list THEIR name as editor.
I've been a happy subscriber from the beginning.
Is there a specific dep't that sucks?
Technically my residence is LA, but I've spent a lot of time at home caring for my mom lately.

Either he views his money like the score in a video game (meaningless except for bragging rights), or he wants Trump to win.
As for the rest of Trump’s supporters, not so much.
Now support him, by canceling your subscription!
Anyways, so many worthy independent (non billionaire owned) papers to throw your money at
You'll still lose your job but will be remembered as being on the right side of history
The fact that the race is neck and neck ought to cause Americans to take a hard look at themselves.
