A DOGE staffer involved in dismantling the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau holds as much as $365,000 worth of shares of companies that the CFPB can regulate. Ethics experts say his actions are a potential violation of federal ethics laws.

Potential? String him up by his “ tiny balls”!
Everyone of these punks are ripping us off and making bank!
It’s a smash and grab but we know all of their names! Idiots!
There needs to be Nuremberg-esque trials for DOGE to hold them accountable for their crimes. Not only ethics violations but how their cuts destroyed American lives.
and as usual- GOP congress allows this- what ever happened to all the debt GOP says we have - meanwhile President Musk and Trump racked up $200 billions MORE in ONLY 100 DAYS!
Note how this reporting basically goes with, "Might be illegal," rather than the more obvious interpretation, "Are massive conflicts of interest and should never have occurred."
It seems as a society we are almost, some days, equating, "Not Illegal," with "This is fine," at least if there is a (R).
When Democrats get back in power, they need to go after everyone that possibly broke the law during this administration. They need to right this ship and show that there is still consequences for criminality.
At this point the assumption should be that all of them are unethical liars, thieves, con men. Not sure how this is news that one of them has a conflict of interest. Show me one of them who doesn't. That may be actually some news...
Workers: It’s time to fight back. Soaring #prices, falling #wages, and deeper billionaire rule. But the crisis goes beyond any one politician. We need a new system—built by #workers, led by workers, international in scope, democratic in structure, and rooted in power at the point of production.
Does anyone of them not gleefully violate the law at this point?
"A 19-year-old working for [..] DOGE was given access to sensitive US government systems even though his past association with cybercrime communities should have precluded him from gaining the necessary security clearances to do so."
Duh!!! Everything about this administration is a violation of ethics laws. LITERALLY EVERYTHING! Remember claiming ignorance of the law is not a defense against crimes you might commit. I don’t know if I have to follow the Constitution, is not a defense unless he intends to plea mental defect.
Gee, ya think? This is a straight up criminal enterprise for keyboard gangsters who would not survive 2 minutes in a more “traditional” criminal enterprise. Bunch of pasty, tech bro bitches who’d piss themselves if you looked hard at them.
A large part of the GOP all need to go straight to jail.
The US coddling and giving them preferential treatment, a standard practice ever since Nixon, and letting their crimes go unpunished (the sitting head of the regime the most notable example) is what's let to the nation's ongoing downfall.
Actually, we shouldn't have let the Confederates off after the Civil War. They're still flying the fucking rebel flags and naming shit after their loser generals.
Potential-Schmotential. Golly, can’t anyone say it right out. I mean, it’s not like these guys are trying to hide their conflicts. They’re flaunting the more often than not.
Heavens but it just keeps getting worse!! This is crazy! If the Biden Administration had done any like this they would have had his guts for garters 💘😱
any employee of DOGE has violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act against every American, so that’s what, 340 million counts? This bullshit has gone on long enough

Capitol switchboard (202) 224-3121.
Email them through their websites.
Tell them to shout impeach, impeach, impeach!
Loudly. Daily.
While it’s still legal.
And be a big problem for the dictator all day long.
Or don’t ask for money…

And if they do get in trouble, they think Musk will protect them.

and the standard MO for the Trump regime
With like an 80% tax for not cutting them in up front.
