Continuing a valuable tradition for inspiring young ornithologists in Britain. Congratulations! I'm sure I won't be the only one whose first book on birds was Ladybird. (Then on to i-Spy and Observers Book of... for my generation).
I guess that these newer additions to the series need to walk a line between the house style of the vintage books and something fresh and contemporary.

Such an iconic series to be associated with, I adored the natural history titles as a child. Still do!
As Steve says, the publisher may well appreciate some "teases" ahead of publication.
