It has become increasingly clear that the Neil Gaiman we all knew (whether socially or para-socially) was performance art - a character meant to earn the admiration of his peers and an endless string of victims to abuse. And it's clear the abuse was the whole point. Read with caution - but do read.

Reader, it does get worse.
But ya know what *scares* me? What if it wasn't? What if both these halves of him were true? What if you can do and say these great things, then go home and do shit this horrible, and neither one is the lie?

It made me feel sick.
The only blessing out of this was it pointed me toward Prachett.
It’s in The Sandman.
And the thing is, I do believe it’s possible to write monstrous things without being a monster. It just turns out that this isn’t an example of that.
