When I last had cats, the deal was that they got catnip when I enjoyed my own version of catnip. It was delightful watching them blissfully rolling around in it.
I'm afraid to give my cat catnip. He runs laps around the house like a complete maniac after he takes a dump. I can't imagine intentionally sending him off the rails!
