Ableists r also known by this term. Always know everything about every disability & what's best for every disabled person. They also speak as if they know everything about what supports r out there & how EASILY ACCESSIBLE all those supports r! SMACK!! One FB idiot called ODSP, THE GOLDEN TICKET!!
When I read a maga post presented as fact but is erroneous and/or opinion, I copy it into my AI and ask for a rebuttal. Then I cut and paste a factual answer into the comment thread. I cannot tell you the satisfaction of fighting maga ignorance and stupidity with facts. Join me on the battlefield
"Well Jeeves, that's most of us most of the time posting on social media," Wooster declared with excessive confidence, near-perfectly counterbalanced by lack of insight or evidence.
"Except me, obviously." Ah, there it was.
"Quite sir. After all, they say a little education is a dangerous thing."
It’s not surprising if you consider a large number of Trump voters do not have college degrees. That seems to be becoming more and more evident, esp as they don’t see the self-damage occurring. they may lack the education / critical thinking tools to understand the significance of happenings.
As defined above, it's not too bad. It usually means acting like an authority or giving advice as if you knew what you're talking about, when you don't. Mansplaining, clueless manager style.
But there's little harm in chiming in with possibly stupid takes, as long as you're a bit humble about it :-)
Excellent (and prophetic) film! but I hesitate to use the word politically because of its mixed etymology (English & Greek). Ídio (ίδιο)- in Greek means “same” which would technically make the word “idiocracy” a government that tries to be exactly like previous regimes…. Which this shitshow ain’t.
But, shouldn't the person have knowledge of the subject prior to having a rational opinion?
My family calls it talking out your a.. when someone makes a statement without facts to back up the claim.
Uninformed opinions can be dangerous as in the case of those who spread their opinion on not vaccinating to the public.
People and parents believed it because they were "upstanding" public figures. There are effects of our words or writing.

As in, "the ultracrepidarian knew more about Afghanistan than all the generals". Or, "the ultracrepidarian was sure about the oranges of the Russia investigation".
This hits me right now because I was thinking a few hours ago that there are people who at least consider themselves Constitutional scholars (T.Cruz for example) who could inform DJT that he's wrong, but apparently that's just too risky. BAH. RISK. Whatever.
THIS. Granted, I can understand the frustrations of everyone replying (and don't entirely disagree with *most* of it) but I think it's critical to self assess as we go, regardless of what's going on.
Republicans, You took power with lawbreaking, violating our constitution, lying, KGB brainwashing, ignoring rules & policies, being obstructionists & saboteurs, ginning up hate & violence and generally being flaming disrespectful assholes. Hence, we are declaring you & your authority NULL & VOID..

Opinion: A judgement, viewpoint, or statement that is not conclusive, as opposed to facts, which are true statements.
I'm saying this on behalf of every woman who has endured the "Actually..." response. 😁
Including a few things I've posted over the years if I'm being brutally honest 😐
But hey, at least I admit it. 😉🤣
