One year ago today, Flaco returned to Central Park after a few weeks exploring the east side. I was so happy to see him in his favorite Oak tree on a blustery, beautiful November morning. π¦π¦π¦ #Flaco #CentralPark

Rest In Sweet Peace now, Flacco.
What an exquisite and meaningful photograph of a once alive symbol of survival of spirit amongst the sometimes wreckage of human chaos. Thank you.
I'm enjoying these Owl pics I keep seeing. Was playing with my friends infant the other day. She has a stuffed owl and I found myself indicating we didn't know if it was male/female because I don't know how to sex an owl nor do I really want to get close enough to try...weird brain moments.
Thanks for memorializing our beloved Flaco. He captivated us for over a year & was the 1st I checked in on social media. You & others took such amazing pictures & videos of him. I hope someone does a compilation someday. Appreciate your art
Oh, He is a sign, isn't he. They are usually very territorial. We had a real beauty by the small lake, but he was elusive. His nest was visible from the highway in a tree. Not on a cliff, as they say. He lost his poor home to a wildfire. He flew by my car on his way. I can only hope he survived.
Thank you for this Flaco post. I got a lump in my throat as soon as I saw it. I will always love him and be happy he was free for a time. He brought so much joy to so many. β€οΈ

May his spirit be flying joyfully and freely in some woodland dimension.
