Hello fellow #autistic folk. Food query. So: I need to take a supplement that comes as powder added to smoothies. I struggle. The texture squigs me out. Other methods to power through powder? (Too much to do in capsule)

Distance yourself from the thought that you need to drink it. I know it's hard because getting told "put it in a smoothie" sometimes closes doors for us.
If the powder is heat-stable, you can use it in soup, porridge or pancakes. Otherwise in apple sauce, mashed bananas, yogurt, etc.
I used powdered peanutbutter to mask texture and flavor of supplements in smoothies. Instant pudding also helps, unfortunately, it's not as effective. Mixing them into yogurt was a bit hit and miss.
I also have a thing with cold stuff (so I don’t eat ice cream, etc), though it’s a good idea. Someone suggested that I mix it with a semi solid like peanut butter. Sort of same idea?
