I'm forced to use them for work - they have denied coverage on several medications that would improve my QOL recommended by a doctor, and ultimately make me less expensive to cover in the long-run. None of their freaking decisions are based on logic, just cruelty for profit.

I work in out-patient physical therapy. Private insurance companies haven’t increased our pay us per service in over 20 years. Not just my clinic, all small businesses. There’s nothing we can do about it except not take insurance & charge patients out of pocket. I don’t wanna just treat the rich 😳

I am not sad. I have a concern about vigilantism overall though. It will backfire, I think. I could be wrong--but it doesn't usually help much, if at all, and can be used to justify repression. The man himself might be reaping what he sowed though.
