Replies here seem to be missing the point that the reference is to a **Nazi salute** and not one of those euphemisms preferred by the right wing 'tired & exhausted' journalists who think the emperor's outfit is fabulous.
Nigel always swerves anything that he agrees with, but would illustrate his true beliefs. He would have very few followers if those with IQ challenges begin to understand what he really stands for.
If you have to say that out loud, then you’re already in trouble! That’s like my garage telling me “it’s ok Mr. Spiers, we won’t cut your brake lines and take all the oil out of your engine.”
I think a little more context is needed on this. Because as you no doubt see, this has sent the "Starmer is evil" brigade into meltdown, clutching their frilly panties and squawking the day away, as though he personally advised Musk to try out a Nazi salute. Hitler too, probably.
Too many in politics would rather look away or sugarcoat it based on convenience. That’s unacceptable. Every politician must clearly declare where they stand on this gross slide into dictatorship. History taught us in 1936 what happens when people stay silent. The time for tough truths is now!
Not being happy with a Nazi salute really isn't enough, is it? Utter disgusting, immediate sacking and a call to the police about a hate crime would be the required course of action.
There seem to be 2 types of government in the western world right now - those that call out extremism while simultaneously enabling it, and those that don't call it out either.
“Wouldn’t be happy” with a member of his Government doing a Nazi salute!! More like should be immediately removed from Parliament and the Labour Party - dragged out by their ear if necessary
Bizarre. I thought Labour was a Socialist party, I'd expect the clenched fist, but a Nazi salute..?? How would that person be in the Labour Party..?? There again, it's Starmers Labour Party....
* how would that person be in the LP: It’s a hypothetical obvs
* the suggestion the Starmer’s Labour Party is somehow a place where that would be acceptable.
He's only clarified that he'd be unhappy with it...not what he'd do about it...there may even be a style of salute he'd be kind of ok with. Who knows? It's all so weak.
Also, he only said if a member of his government was doing it. Presumably, therefore, he would be fine with people associated with his campaign, but not necessarily part of the government?
"The Prime Minister would not be happy with a member of his Government doing a massive liquid shit on the table during a state banquet", says Keir Starmer's spokesman
It makes a change from all the official sucking up to Trump. It’s a clear message to watch his goose step and especially that of his unelected bureaucrat.
That was the one before the one in the photo. The one in the photo died in a plane crash about 10 years after the photo was taken and the eldest daughter, Elizabeth, had to take over as queen.
You are thinking of the Duke of Kent, who was Queen Elizabeth’s uncle. This is 1933 when nobody realised what the National Socislist party would become 6 years later.
The England football team did the same salute in Berlin in 1938, before kickoff. https://www.historytoday.com/archive/why-england-football-team-gave-nazi-salute
Yeah not sure of the title realised it was her uncle because he was king before her pappy. Then it was buried by the state for 50 years or so. I mean in 90 years people will likely say we didn’t know what maga would become but we all know. We’ve lived it for over a decade now
No, you are still confusing the brothers. Edward VIII abdicated, became Duke of Windsor. He married Mrs Simpson.
The Duke of Kent was the youngest of the 4 brothers. He married Princess Marina of Greece. His son is the present Duke.

Yes obviously
Questioner: Would you be happy with someone in your party doing a Nazi salute ?
PM: No ... next question.
I'm not going to criticise him for being brief.
This will, of course, put the Mail in a terrible quandary.
In fact, unhappy.
Perhaps leaning toward disappointment.
And possibly going as far as disapproval.
The people excusing him are lower than vermin.
Not that I've become completely disillusioned or anything...
Do the politicians jumping on Musk’s posts on X to try to bring down the government?

Give your head a wobble pal.

Not actually Starmer himself then
