Spouse put away our sign for now. I’m leaving the bumper sticker on my car. It might attract MAGAt attention but it also feels like solidarity with sane people. Already had several affirming convos in parking lots.

I pulled mine from my front window late Wednesday night. It’s now propped up against the wall in my home office because I don’t think I’m getting over this anytime soon. Also, MVP is still addressing the crowd at the ellipse on my phone‘s lock screen.
When I was among the masses that woke up at 4am on Wednesday to hear the news, I quitely went out to take mine in. The election was over; time to internalize.
My husband brought our signs in the day after. We live in red Indiana. Where none of the dems won. I found that he saved our Harris/walz sign. He knew I wasn’t ready to let it go. It was our second one - first one was stolen. Still not ready. Never will be.
I did this on Saturday - as one of the only 2 representers on my Ruby Red street it was not easy, but I am focusing on the Here and Now - prepping for what's next and leaning into 'More Will Be Revealed'
Sad for sure. I had one neighbor that didn’t put out their Trump sign until the day after the election. Always suspected he was a supporter but that action sure felt like a purposeful FU!
Neighbors around the corner still have theirs up but the other three in our NC neighborhood are down.
Tomorrow, taking five dozen back to the local Dem HQ office to be recycled/repurposed.
