Fingers crossed that the results can be duplicated in humans - so many cures work in animals but just can't make the jump OR cause unforseen problems.

It's a great way to reconnect to my science/biology background, and reminds me of the awesome work being done around the world, even when many things might feel kinda dark.
Everyone/every country should be throwing money into this to support this man and his team, or at the very least be helping to further the research with their own dedicated teams.

The physical changes cancer cells can cause (large tumors requiring excision) would still pose an issue, correct?
They would just now be a large mass of normally-functioning cells that would still require excision.
Or would you want to revert the cells before removing the mass?
Presumably the reversion to normal cells would be the "cleanup" step to ensure no cancer cells remain to metastasize or grow?
