Trump said Boeing had won the contract to build the U.S. Air Force's next generation of fighter jets. Little is known about the jet's specifications, appearance or capabilities.

The cool thing about these jets is they not only blow things up but if you fly beside the enemy for more than 15 minutes it becomes a bomb itself. The white papers say this thing blows the doors off itself even more than the competition
So did he get his pay-out in cash or check? He's got to be a cash in a suitcase guy, for sure. No duffel bags, no new bills, no consecutive serial numbers.
So.. the fuckup shell of a company that spent *how much* taxpayer money on starliner.. is going to make the "F-47"
I could make a joke about a plane that's underpowered, underperforms, overweight, over budget that blows hot air..
The bidding processes was initiated in 2023. Several aerospace companies were looked at not just Boeing. Personally, I was hoping for Northrop Grumman.
Oh gee, where is Elon? Where is DOGE? THOUGHT THEY WERE GONNA TRIM GOVERNMENT DOWN AND THERE’S ANOTHER INFLATED CONTRACT WITHOUT ANY SPECIFICS ENTITLED TO IT TYPICAL PENTAGON BLOATED BUDGET THE 800 POUND GORILLA IN THE ROOM!
That company👉A plea deal struck with Boeing (BA.N), opens new tab over a criminal charge related to software tied to two fatal 737 MAX crashes should be accepted, the U.S. Justice Department said on Wednesday, after some relatives of the 346 people killed in two crashes called for it to be rejected.
This is dumbest f’ing thing. The next fighter jet number is 36 or 37 or 38. What the f are we, goddamned North Korea? And Boeing? The same company that f’ed up the Starliner? That hasn’t built a fighter jet since the F-18?
If you’re a Republican, where the f are you? Cowering at home terrified of the MAGA mob? Generations of Americans who stood up to tyranny, who fought and died to defend the principles of freedom, human rights, and democratic processes are disgusted at your cowardice. Get the f into into the fight!
Denmark is already lamenting their F-35 purchase. The big fear is that US software, which is needed to fly the planes, has a built-in kill switch that can render the aircraft into a sizeable brick.
Well, you know........
like the Medical overhaul .....the infracture deal
Not going to happen......never mind the problem of getting the materials for making it

One there’s probably no F 47. Two why the hell would he call it after himself if Boeing is making it all it’s gonna do is crash and burn? Maybe that’s what he’ll do crash and burn.😂
And he can keep them. No-one is going to trust the USA to deliver updates, parts and chips to them. Thank your Orange 🤡 for ending US military exports.
USAID spent roughly $20 billion last year. 0.3% of overall federal spending. People throughout the world are alive because of that spending.
These jets are anticipated to cost $20 billion.
Says a lot.
So, given it's name we can expect massive cost overruns, kickbacks to Trump, 'unsafe at any speed' because all the safety inspectors are being fired and all the instrumentation in Russian since they'll have the plans before the Air Force.
Both the Chinese and russian military will be getting almost real time updates on the design direct from maralago while the US spaffs trillions on development. Won't even be a year before the Chinese will have a near identical version flying.
My best to beleaguered Boeing in dealing with the despot, who wants to micro manage everything and everyone. He'll claim to be an aviation design expert and try to get the planes designed in Baroque style with his ugly porcine mug plastered on each one. After all, it's "his" military.
I thought Musk was killing the project as his opinion is that we do not need manned fighter aircraft and should be using drones instead. I guess if it has 47 in its description it is OK.
Say no to this contract. Give us back our public education! Leave Medicaid and Social Security alone. Snap. Vets! Stop golfing spending money to protect you.
But Elon said that fighter jets were obsolete in the age of the drone…..so, just a money grab, then. Given Boeing overinflated costs on one vehicle design (a helicopter) by 177,000%. You read that right.
•Specifications:
the wild ramblings from a nearly-80-year-old idiot with nascent dimensia (but also constantly changing)
•Appearance: some gold covered monstrosity with an overly phallic shape
•Capabilities: eating taxpayer money, spontaneously exploding
Because it hasn’t been developed yet. It’s yet another Trump news conference about nothing.
But if it’s built, we will take on the entire cost, since the rest of the world wants nothing to do with us. Especially when their defense hinges on being able to trust us, and they simply cannot.
The new F-47 is said to go Mach 3 but struggles to reach 250mph. It is described as sleek but is bloated like a cargo transport. And from what I have heard, it barely works, preferring to just putter around the runway.
Not this bullshit again. He’s so fucking stupid. I dare ONE reporter to ask him the operational and financial benefits of steam catapults versus electromagnetic ones. He has no fucking idea.
EM was chosen to eliminate steam and saves a ton of space inside carriers.
F-47, the little Dictator vanity project. Going to reflect the character of the traitor with cost overruns, corruption, faulty parts and shortcuts that compromise effectiveness and safety.

How big was the bribe?
Were there RFPs? A neutral decision committee? That’s how you avoid waste and fraud.
as in..
Felon-47?
The US airforce is about to run on looney tunes logic irl.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
NOTICE ALL THE F s? ITS PERFECT F 47.
I GIVE IT AN F B4 THEY EVEN START
Cheaper than engineering planes and spaceships that work right, I guess.
I could make a joke about a plane that's underpowered, underperforms, overweight, over budget that blows hot air..
"We never use them because Boeing made it a death trap, but it's great for morale. We just let the troops take turns, uh, defacing it.."
"Really? We sent ours to Putin as a gift." 😂

You might want to rethink that one, Pete.

There are no specifications except they get a kickback!
AND congress has approved money???
tRump has no Constitutional Power!
And the competitive award process? Where is that?
This is a practice that will not change anytime soon.

Having a jet number of his presidency is a sick thing by his sycophants!
Can they do a new Trump Force One first? They can save a few bucks by leaving out all the fasteners.
For every other country on the planet.
I wouldn't want to test pilot that mess. 😬
And it takes decades to build a new one.
Given the current state of affairs, allies are not gonna buy into this, and it will be prohibitively more expensive.
Everything else this administration is doing says we don't know which way is up.
How about FU-47
It flies faster than you could believe.
It's very strong.
It will win biggly. Very strong. Ready in 2 weeks.
#doge #corruption
Nobody will buy it anyway, just like the F35.
Maybe Netanyahu, if you insist.
