I know they're called the Pillars Of Creation, but am I the only one who sees a hand or perhaps a bunch of people or angels as if they're flying up to Heaven.
i appreciate real photos. thank u for posting, theres a lot of AI generated pics of nebulae and celestial bodies on this site so its refreshing to see the real deal
My first glance was praying mantis. Clicked to see better (near blind & one eye makes thing look like they are in a fun house mirror). Seeing better, definitely Godzilla.
was about to comment that it looked like those pillars were about to wreck Mothra's week.... but it looks like someone already beat me to the Godzilla stuff. Good, because that is what it looks like.
The more I see of these magnificent pictures, the more I want to have some made into wallpaper for the wall behind my bed.
Unfortunately, I probably couldn't afford it.
I love how JWST brings out the nests of newly forming stars which weren’t as visible in the Hubble images. JWST is a truly astonishing instrument and a great credit to all who worked on it.
Perfectly fine I would guess. Someone like Carl Sagan was an obvious atheist but you could always hear the wonder and awe in his voice. And many scientists have "found God", so to speak, through science as opposed to reading translations of ancient manuscripts. experience.
Sagan was clear on the pointlessness of assuming that the grandeur of the Universe required something even more complex and improbable in order to create it. He understood #OccamsRazor.
Can I ask a silly question?
If one could travel in space, would one see this view as well or would it be so enormous it would get lost in immensity? Maybe while approaching? Thanks

So creators fingers touched it?
The bird of creation.
sees Godzilla? it's a picture of Godzilla so we all see it
A bit different in IR than what we've seen with the Hubble.
Nice try “James Webb.”
