to me, the kent state massacre is one of the most disturbing events in this country's history. i don't remember how i learned about it (i'm a young millennial), but it's remained to me an emblem of everything fucked up here

I’m the last month I’ve re-read/listened to deep dives into the MOVE bombings and the Kent State shooting. It’s years since I’ve been down to the States, but my dad was from Philly so it’s terrifying even from here in Canada.
