As a teenager I loved Siouxsie & the Banshees' singles but never bought an album or saw them live. Now I'm listening to all the albums in sequence and good grief they're amazing. The quality level is bananas. Discovering an artist's catalogue rather late is like stumbling across a treasure trove.

The Banshees and the Furs are the two of the age I come back to the most (and always, always Wire).
To listen to a Banshees record when it was released would involve buying or borrowing a copy.
Clearly you, like me, preferred other stuff.
Are you listening to the Creatures too?
The last album Hai is probably one of my all time favourite albums.
Enjoy when you get there
I had the same feeling when I got into the Cocteau Twins a year or two ago. Like Siouxsie and the Banshees, there's a strong element of "why didn't I get into them sooner, when they're an influence on nearly half of all the other bands I'm into?"
So, I’ve never actually seen Siouxsie and the Banshees play live. And this is one the greatest regrets of my life.
It matters not when you discover something, the connection is all important whenever it is.
Enjoy your listening.
