Alito & Thomas are two muppets. They keep mowing the grass John Roberts hides in. No wonder he’s running around hollering, the suave excrement…It’s his work for Citizen United however that makes him the genuine architect of this Supreme Cesspool. And we all know it…
Pretty sure the employment reference bit is a cover story. The guy already worked for Trump’s DOJ during his first term, and coordinated with Guiliani on the Hunter laptop scheme. FFS
Guessing Trump wanted advice on crushing his NY sentencing hearing.
It's fun that multiple times per year Thomas has to amend his financial disclosure for gifts and trips he "failed" to disclose from his sugar daddy and yet Roberts has yet to mention that in his annual report on the Court.
And Alito was cool telling the press about it! He feels entirely comfortable going with "I was only calling in a favor, there was nothing untoward about the interaction." Amazing.
Why so cynical about Roberts' whining about court criticism and Alito asking Trump for a favor? It's well known in those circles that Trump is not a quid pro quo kind of guy.
Alito rec letter was a lie. The guy clerked for him 13 years ago! He served the first DJT admin more recently than that. So yeah it was DJT asking for a favor: to stop his NY sentencing.
The SCOTUS is no longer credible. It's a corrupt institution. 6 of its judges have compromised their integrity and impartiality. Clarence Thomas stands out. For instance, he can be bought
Please don’t repeat the story that two liars decided was the story to tell the public.
It makes ZERO sense. No part of that story makes sense.
However:
Is it a *coincidence* that the day after they spoke - trump filed his emergency petition?
Doesn’t THAT make more sense?
Don’t believe the liars.
I'm reminded of Trump personally calling Comey and bringing him to the White House.
I mean, Trump can just have the Court majority over to the White House for dinner and discuss his legal issues. Who is going to complain? Scratch that. Who is going to do anything about it?
I wonder if Sam told John before he called Don, or did John find out the same way the rest of us did. Could Sam be in trouble when he gets back to the office?
I have heard The Donald is transactional. Perhaps a little quid pro quo?

John Roberts has given up any concern about his legacy. If the Republic survives the Trump Era he will go down as one of the Neville Chamberlain of this time
The entire diatribe from Roberts seems totally audacious. Is he that clueless concerning the fact that he presides over the most ethically challenged supreme court in the history of The United States? I think not. Simply nonsense.

IE not funny.
Also the would be a great mad lib (no pun intended) by leaving “fun” as a blank in this sentence.

Wonder if any other favors were requested in this call.
Yup, having a great time.
More fun coming tomorrow

* There is no higher Court to OVERRULE them
* There is no enforceable ethics code to BIND them
* They have LIFETIME appointments
> Elections have CONSEQUENCES!
He’s not actually different than Alito, he’s just marginally smarter and more interested in hiding who he is.
Sounds like reasonable suspicion of bribery to me.
Sad.
Remember when Kennedy resigned and got to pick Kavanaugh?
It makes ZERO sense. No part of that story makes sense.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

WTF actually just happened to the Supreme Court under Roberts?!? 😩
