Season 8 was so insanely good.

It also had Jack Frost and The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies and Prince of Space.

I'm sold. Say no more. Didn't really realize those were all season 8! That was when the Rifftrax crew finally took the roles, too. I wonder if the sci-fi channel's meddling led them to some creative necessity.

The Sci-Fi Channel reboot and the passion of the fans brought in a new energy. There's flesh blood. Nelson/Murphy/Corbett ended up having a chemistry that could have them mix-and-match as characters.

It had the STRONGEST trio of final episodes of any season... Space Mutiny, Time Chasers, and Overdrawn at the Memory Bank - that trio alone justifies everything else done in the Scifi era.

It was a head fake too, because (IMO) the season started a bit underwhelming for the first few eps but then starting with UNDEAD just went absolutely insane.
