1. I have released my first post-election anti-trans risk assessment map.
The national risk is high due to potential Republican national policies targeting trans people.
DC has slightly increased in risk. Wyoming and Georgia go up as well.

Seriously..
That’s about all the backup plans I have at this point.😞

Basically Florida is speeding towards literal hell for trans people.
NOBODY has the right to control others lives. It is morally abhorrent.
Also, Spain's right wing government in Madrid is starting to pass anti-gay and anti-trans laws as well. They also got rid of the "Golden Visa".
(Both countries were on our escape list too.)
I moved to Maine to be closer to the border in case things get bad.
Now I find myself dark jokes about Trump making Alberta his fucking Austria.
DC is now higher risk due to the capitol bathroom ban.
WY, GA likely to see adult anti-trans legislation.
I think you are understating the risk in the District of Columbia, having lived there during Trump's first term.
I don't think he could have mobilized the military on June 1, 2020, had the District been a state instead of Federal territory
DC Home Rule is legally a privilege the government can take away

One small improvement: Washington State improves after a forced outing law has seen little action, and the reelection of Reykdal. It is now "safest."
Making laws against transgender youth is reprehensible.
No-one should have to feel unsafe.

Thank you.
Very useful info that I'd like to refer back to. Thank you for compiling it
Like it feels like they are just backing us on a corner
(If anyone is hiring in Baltimore let me know please 🙏)
Been trying to weigh options for my family, but definitely in the struggling bracket like so many others.
I faced anti-trans death threats in the 1990s. People definitely called for my extinction.
Let's not romanticize a period when we had fewer civil rights.

My state is also the darkest shade of red known to humanity I'm so screwed.
(Don't worry, we have an equally bad 'New Jersey Man' trope. 😜)
i reposted it this morning hope you arnt mad. It's real important info today like a map of safe houses in pre WW2 germany for the jewish people.
I'm in the danger zone, cue kenny loggins.
Our family is all more than a bit scared for them.
