I grew up in New Orleans, and I've had vicarious fun seeing all the pics from family and friends - growing up I remember seeing a pic of a streetcar in the snow in some restaurant, and found out it was from 1963. Nothing like this in my lifetime.

Today has felt like such a bizarre day. In the 45 years I’ve lived here. I have never seen so much snow in South Louisiana. I’m so happy that I got to witness it. While it may just be a regular winter Tuesday to our neighbors in the north it’s a day we’ll never forget.

Oh wow it looks beautiful. I didn’t know that you ever really got snow in that part of the states. I absolutely loved New Orleans when I visited a few years ago, everyone was so friendly, and the food and live music was amazing.

My daughter in law is from that area, now live in NOVA. Been updating up with snow pics from her family this afternoon. They have as much as we got here in Pa on Sunday. It’s amazing ❄️
