Here's my DOGE plan: 1) Make billionnaires pay their taxes, 2) No more 6 figure salaries for congress/senate, 3) Stop spending $800,000/flight on daily military deportation flights, 4) Raise the minimun wage to $25/ hour, 5) Reinvest surplus wealth in the US. I agree with all except cutting the salary of our legislature. If we don't pay them well, someone else will pay them better. Instead, we should focus on cracking down on insider trading and other outside sources of income that lead to conflicts of interest and corruption

Stop paying the house all together, or pay them the minimum wage. They're supposed to be civil servants, not have a luxurious pay scale. Provide them with employee housing in or near DC and transport. Watch the minimum raise rise rapidly and yearly.

Public office should pay the median income of your constituency. From town council to presidency, peg pay to median income. The only way to make more is to make a lot of your constituents better off—a handful at the top won’t help.
