We will win through the undeniable joy of service. It feels simple and right to help each other, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. That joy will keep us going.
I am a loud & proud post op trans woman who is not only unafraid but boldly living as if the Greens had won & we had full legal equality already.

United we stand! Devided we will fall! To quote a sabaton song.
WE! WE WILL RESIST AND BITE! BITE HARD, FOR WE ARE ALL INSIGHT! WE! WE TAKE UP ARMS AND FIGHT! FIGHT HARD! RESIST AND DO WHAT'S RIGHT!
I'm terrified, but we've got to put on a brave face for the younger members of our community. It's bleak, but we've got to carve out a path of comfort for them.
I am NOT letting this get me down. Those fraudulent results have only lit a fire under my ass! If you still have a twitter, I suggest you get on there, keep #donotconcedekamala, and #demandarecount trending. Tag her @/KamalaHarris to the point that she can't ignore us. Light that same fire under HER
I feel so bad for my queer and trans folks. I tried, man. I really did. I tried so hard to spread the truth. Y'all are loved and appreciated. Please hang in there
Optimism is important and it's also important to acknowledge the very real danger we are facing. I haven't seen this kind of open hatred for us since the 80s when the HIV crisis was new. It's okay to feel apprehensive. Stay alert and take strength in knowing we have allies who will fight with us.
We've beaten the same policies they want when they were actually enforced already, back when popular support for us was a fringe thing instead of the baseline expectation in decent society.
Not everyone will make it, but as a community we'll win.
Do it for the future queer kids.
Those policies were defeated during a time when the material conditions trended towards social liberalisation - the same trend will not exist during the upcoming climate crisis.
The fight will continue, but the losses will likely be worse since the beginning of modern history
We have to fight for the next generation. We've got to keep working for a world where queer people are safe and valued and allowed to express themselves without fear or discrimination. But that doesn't make me any less scared and sad for the people who won't be there to see it.
Would love to believe that, but since mass murder is illegal I don't see how we'll ever win jack shit. The system is so biased against us there's no point in dealing with the farce of participation.
