If it comes down to it and embargo on all goods entering and exiting the White House would be a good step in the right direction! I’m sure there’s some teamsters who could get it done.
MUSK: Well that's the cost of progress... (shrugs) Self-driving Teslas will malfunction, rockets will crash... (chuckles) What's the saying? -- 'If we want to make omelets...' Look, I'm at peace with it. (grins)
Imma be honest I haven’t seen much explanation as to how the crashes are Trump’s fault. I fully fucking believe it, don’t get me wrong, but like. HOW. WTF did he do.
It's also possible that it was a coincidence. We just don't fully know yet. But it's also weird timing especially with everything he did in his short term so far
Conservative politicians just want to murder people. Like, I’m convinced they just want to see the country run with blood. Cause the only other explanation, is that they’re *that* fucking stupid, and don’t understand how to run a country
The Conservative strategy is to make people miserable because miserable people make bad choices. Put up a scapegoat, rinse and repeat. The fatalities may not be intentional, but they do help make people miserable.
It's almost as though running a government isn't the same as running a business. Though, to be fair neither the Felon or Musk show any aptitude for running a business either.
Good thing Trump is patient, loyal, and loves answering questions about other people. If I were Elon Musk I'd be feeling fine right now. No chance of Musk getting stabbed in the back. No. Siree. Bob.
Who could have possibly foreseen this? Oh wait that's right all the fucking experts. I swear it's not even worth being smart in country that insists that ignorance is better.
I mean, Elon IS the same guy who fired a bunch of security teams only to have Twitter crash out. What did he think was gonna happen if he fired TSA agents?
When he turned Twitter into X he did it exactly like this. people received emails in the middle of the night. Here’s what we’re doing, like it or get out. The orange imbecile loved that he did that. He commented on it in an interview. They are the same.
Dude is probably going to become a trillionaire by rigging the entire world in his favor at the expense of the rest of the world, so I'd say he's paid, just not in an official capacity.
WTF do you mean he hasn’t been paid? He made billions of dollars by donating $287 million to the orange turd campaign! Now they are turning over treasury accounts to him & his evil henchmen! Report: Repubs in Congress are flipping out, scared as hell cause they allowed this shit-show❗️
Maybe the most currently relevant Musk story, and maybe still the best overall, is Charles Duhigg's @wired.com story from 2018 about Musk's impulsive 2016 order to Tesla to devote everything to his (literal!) dream of an "alien dreadnought" fully-automated factory: https://www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-tesla-life-inside-gigafactory/.
Elon heard the statistics that planes were safer than cars and he had to do something about it, after auto-driving seemed trained with an AI to hit pedestrians
Wait another 10 years. That's about the length from announcement to shoddy production.
Remember when he promised the next gen roadster in 2017, took $50-$250 from 100,000 people and then eventually, after no work, told them there are better things to work on right now? Class. Act. Thief.
Forgive me for sounding like a spoiler but, is it actually the fault of trump 2025 policies? Seems to me it’s more the fault of Regan, and then subsequently the fault of each congress/president after that to do anything about it. Like I don’t see how T25’s policies could have led to this so fast
It's unlikely that the federal hiring freeze and the "please resign before we fire you" email are *immediately* responsible for these crashes, but the crashes highlight just how bad those ideas are. ATCs have been working 60-hour weeks due to short staffing, pushing more to resign won't help at all.
GOP lead austerity budget cuts have hindered the FAA for decades now (article references them from 2013), partly due to how contracts for air traffic controllers are funded by congressional budget whims ...
BUT Trump and Musk wanting to dissolve, privatize, and hostile-takeover everything this week most certainly hindered the normal functioning of a high stress system spread thin.
I dont know why we are so surprised, his last term literally killed over a million americans. I dont know why nobody talks about the number of covid deaths or how they were almost all preventable, why there is no holiday, no memorial, nothing? OVER A MILLION OF US
I think then we'd have to say "and then we did nothing different when he was gone." The bodies kept piling up, best to just pretend it all isn't happening.
As an exhausted ICU nurse who has worked at the bedside through the whole pandemic and is now disabled because of it, I have been screaming this into the void since literally 2021. Not even my family cares lol 🙃
I bet it was. I was pretty traumatized by being told to my face that it's no big deal because only fat people and disabled people are dying. As in, who cares if I die? To my effing FACE. America is in denial about its national trauma right now, I think.
Start a Microsoft Flight Simulator fad and troll Elon about it. He'll get someone else to record it, but still have the arrogance to believe that he can pilot a plane anyway.
Except Australia won't have you unless you have specific skills/career paths. The older you are the less chance you have of getting a visa. And forget it if you're at all disabled.
Leaving often isn't a viable solution for the people who would need to leave the most.
the number of dead will continue to rise over the next 4 years, due to trump's incompentence.
I propose an action of dumping/placing crosses on any/all trump golf properties throughtout the next 4 years, to highlight the harm he caused!
Woops, well humans are replaceable anyway or at least that's what Elon musk said, he said have more babies does he live in reality? Does he know the fk cost of having one let alone more than one??!!
DEI was responsible for the safest period

The first one Trump has deniability as it's been a problem for awhile. Helicopters flying in the same airspace as airplane landing a difficult landing recipe for disaster
I understand that and my feelings want the same but logic wants people to know this has been a on going problem and not brush it under the rug when we switch the person in the big chair

Totalitarian dictatorship time!
I do not apologize for suggesting someone learn from his courage and passion to do what's right in the face of absolute corruption.
No. Apologies.
We didnt call Hitlers reign conservative.
The "rocket scientist" has flimsy vehicles on our roads that might knock loose a panel and behead/impale people.
They made a normal greeting weird by adding the word victory before it with a very familiar hand wave as well, much like Musk is trying.
Too soon? Nope, too late.
Had McConnell run the first impeachment appropriately, Pence would have been president, and less than 100,000 would have died.
Americas Deathocracy in action!
#AmericasDeathocracy
It'll make decimation look tame
I’m eagerly waiting for them to shut down metro lines in favor of 1,000 cybertrucks held together with gorilla tape
we should fund that with taxpayer dollars
