If you look at the map, mostly non-farmable land regions where people (hence jobs & services) are scarce are red. Those places tend to have extraction economies. The south has poor soil quality, but good climate & large pop, doesn't invest in their own human capital.
I think its a problem of living in texas. Im used to thinking in terms of blue urban centers and red rural but then forget that a lot of the rest of the country is the same. Basically, it never occurred to me how much rural is in Wa/Or. Thank you ^_^ Definitely good points to remember.
We are highly divided between rural maga and suburban liberals. In Washington the political divide is expressed per county. For example right over the mountain is eastern Washington and it is a very poor rural Trump lifestyle a lot like Alaska. Stevens and Lewis county are good examples, it's bad.

Washington is a huge rural state. I have lived in almost every county in Washington from Seattle to Spokane, and from Portland to Bellingham. The counties are very different for sure. We have beach hillbillies in Grays Harbor County too. 😬
Im actually considering moving to Washington later this year (just have to find the right job with the state to replace what i do now). But I appreciate the info. Could be useful as I consider where to put the tiny home.
WA state depts currently have a hiring freeze. Eastern WA has a lot of farms and is big Ag. Wheat and Lentils, potato and apple crops… wine grapes to asparagus. a lot of migrant workers to pick. In eastern WA, it’s either you are a family member of the farms, or you are low income.
Most of the State jobs are in Olympia the capital. If you want a basic idea of what to expect in say Okanogan county I can tell you more than you want to know.🤔
No coincidence these areas also rank the lowest in education. They’re the proving ground for what a lack of education does to bolster fascism and white supremacy. All bc they don’t want their kids to share anything with POC. I just wish the rest of us didn’t have to suffer with them.
The only reason all of them are still standing is because their base are the nutjobs who support them. As soon as they piss off the wrong idiot who has nothing left to lose, it'll be someone in their base that takes at least one of them down, and I'm here for it.
They will still love the GOP as long as the GOP promises them that it's ok to openly hate trans people and blame immigrants for all their petty problems. Till that day when they finally wake up and then it just might be revolution.
Sadly it’s the only way to have them realize the orange conman is only out for himself and his cronies/controllers. They believe anything he says, so they need to “feel” it now.
They won't. But it's nice to think that they might experience some enlightenment at some point. Perhaps when their family is chronically sick and starving? 🤷♀️😒
I'm looking forward to the videos and memes coming 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Some times I feel guilty for feeling bad.🤦♀️ but then I remember that I voted for them and all they cared about was hate. 🖕🖕🖕🖕
The billionaires are deciding who eats and doesn’t eat tonight….het ready maga bc you have a whole lot of hurting’ coming up and it won’t be pretty. #FAFO
Every Dem with any media chops needs to be out there, especially on Fox and all the podcasts, letting MAGA know the populism they voted for actually is just more of the same trillions in tax cuts for the elite while screwing everyone else
I think they are just going to cut the programs for non-white people and that’s not a big issue for them since most minority voters living in those areas already don’t vote for them.
We will require policing those cuts, to ensure they are, in fact, applied proportionally, and not targeted, based upon politics. This is a time where distrust is the enemy, as much as the adversary.
I said this before... the middle class will get through it but the working class just voted against their own interests and are about to royally fucked.
If you can folks' watch Stacey DigsIt on TikTok, she's got the end game laid out & it's not original & it's not good
I wish I had a happier Valentine's Day card . 🇺🇲🕊🌎❣️
I hear you! My county is so red it stands out on this map with no boundaries. Now the farmers are wondering if their subsidies will arrive so they can plant on time.
Not a single Republican representative or senator is pushing back. I fear the only way we survive this impending doom is if a handful of Republican reps and senators switch parties and flip both chambers.

I'm done feeling sorry for these people. They were warned numerous times and didn't listen because they knew better.
