while we were (mostly) okay with being able to see who liked an individual tweet, quite a few privacy and security folks at twitter considered the “full like history” to be perhaps its biggest foundational design mistake.

Even if your like history, in totality, isn’t available, chances are, someone has the receipts. Maybe heed some self discretion if you don’t want something seen.
you can also make likes only visible to the poster, which solves that problem entirely.

I don’t know if there is a way to keep much hiding in this kind of design though.
bookmark might be better if I don't want to like the item or have the poster know I marked it
