We found out my great great great grandma who was buried in a Cherokee cemetery was actually not Native American, which led us to find out she was a sex worker and got banned from the white cemetery due to her job.

Dunno if they thought she was going to mess up the marriages of other dead people or what. I'm thankful the Cherokee showed compassion for her, she was a young mother with a year old baby when she died.
