I'd just started a job in a department loaded with old dudes when a cake arrived for someone's birthday. One of the old dudes asked me to cut it. "Why would I do that?" I said, genuinely confused why he asked me when I didn't even know the birthday person (it was because of sexism)

Some people are dense. Worked for a governmental agency with the normal training seminars. An employee and his manager got called into admin to address the issue. On the way back he made a comment to a different employee and got hauled right back to admin. He was a special kind of Stoopid. Kept job.

We literally fired one guy at my work for entering the women's bathroom without knocking and being creepy to the women if anyone was in there (job required him to go in, but only allowed if unoccupied)

I remember the first sexual harassment training I got (it was on a vhs. I am old.) literally had a scene of a group of dudes admiring a pin up girl poster on the wall at work, and when a female coworker walked by they pulled a shade over it and chuckled.

It seemed outlandish at the time but later in my career a group of us found a secret stash of hand drawn porno behind the drawer in one of my coworker’s desks. So like… yeah that shit probably happened at some point.
