🦊 Boxing Day: A Celebration of Cruelty
Every year, hunts parade through our streets, flaunting their so-called "tradition." It’s a disgrace that this barbaric practice is still legal. We need a REAL ban on hunting NOW!

If the fox could have spoken, it would have laughed, "Gawd, they're dumb!"
But many clubs will continue the old ways, and if caught, claim the hounds accidentally picked up a fox scent.
Just don't do it in a way that hurts or harasses the horses. Lay fake tracks, go for hikes on regular trails and bring your favorite megaphone, etc.
As for large scale industrialised slaughter of animals try blaming that on those that profit off that practice.
The privileged few of Society.
This whole thing annoys me bc even the people against it, are willing to harass the horses and dogs; which ruins the entire point.

Can afford to spend thousands and thousands of dollars to savagely kill small animal that was minding own business.
I think it would solve a lot of society’s issues.
😉
"traditions" sake.
Nature doesn't need their help,it regulates itself if you leave it alone.
Many socalled hunters for food just like the killing and as a bonus they get free meat.
do they have a barbeque at the end of the day...?
-is fox some sort of delicacy the rest of the world is unaware of...?
i can see a need for farmers to protect their chickens
or for hunting-when the game is eaten
i see no real need for this blood sport of the privileged
Hunting isn't the only way to solve this, but it's less painful and terrifying to die from a bullet than a pack of wolves.
"Nature" is neither good nor bad, it simply is. Humans are the apex predators of the earth. We've driven other apex predators to extinction. Thus, prey animals lack predators. Hunting them is, in fact, the "natural" thing to do.
Nature is not kind.
Yes, it is cruel to the foxes. I personally love foxes nearly as much as dogs and wolves. But accepting the reality of nature is part of respecting it.
No, I'm not advocating hunting them to extinction, I'm telling you that there needs to be a balance, and there is currently an over-population.
And you can't criticise humans for hunting an animal that hunts and kills prey itself, for pleasure.
"Nature is red in tooth and claw"
NO animal "kills for the sake of killing," dude; they behave as they're designed to behave. YOU set them up. Now you want to punish them?
As for killing for sport, cats do this, and some dog breeds too. Also, wild chimpanzees can be incredibly violent, in ways that would put humans in prison for life.
One, foxes have no opposable thumbs.
Two, they don't have the means to obtain or manufacture weaponry such as knives, due to them not having opposable thumbs...
Now, that's really only one flaw, but one so glaring it needed to be said twice.
As an ex keeper of chickens i can say the same thing about socalled house cats. Need to be humanely uhh controlled.
They are a pest.
And i do like cats in general.
If you are killing for trophies or pleasure, it’s just wrong. It’s vanity and cruelty.
Overpopulation or pandemic can also give a good reason (wild swine and infected armadillo). ‘Nuf
it's just shits and giggles for people who like to torture wild animals.
You know, snobs and the like
Basically, they just love killing, thats all.
I had one honest american hunter in a discussion who confirmed: " team, its the thrill of the kill"
I wonder why?
You want us to feel sympathy for you?
