It's thru the decky plugin! Follow steps to install decky thru desktop mode, then use decky to download Animation Changer. Once you download the animation you want, set it via system settings!

Idk what I did (if anything), but I have a shortcut on my desktop mode that reinstalls it when it disappears after an update!

I've found that if I update decky via game mode before I update steamos then it sticks around.

The ending splash feels spot on, but the cube animation feels a bit slow and flat. OG had 15 visual cube flops made a 3D cube shape. This just feels halfhearted. Brb, spending many years learning animation to improve upon this.
