I couldn't get through it. I have a weird affliction, I identify far too much with protagonists so I felt very uncomfortable when Cary Grant was treated poorly by everybody.
My interest in movies is at an all time low but that was a good B and W movie. Last movie I saw was Dune at the theatre only watched it because I saw the original and read the book. 3 out of 5 stars and gay agenda posters in the theatre and the movie had huge plot holes and the theatre went kaput.
My granddaughter was talking to me about Hitchcock , she’s on a film direction & production at Uni. I suggested she watches The Rope with James Stewart. Great film. A bit dated now but clever.
This was my dad's favorite movie of all time. Back in the day, he would carry VHS copies and then later DVD copies of this movie around his car. If he met you and he liked you, he would give you a copy. I lost him in July at the age of 91. He was a brilliant thinker, philosopher and human being.
A movie ahead of its time! I wish I had that in my dvd collection. But I do have Singing in the Rain! Completely opposite but great to watch when you are feeling sad 😊
I never appreciated the ending scene on Mt. Rushmore having only seen the truncated tv version, then I saw the full Panavision version in a local theatre. It's a magnificent scene.
Such a great film. I introduced my daughter to this 10 years ago when she was 15, she went on to explore Hitchcock. Rear Window is probably her favourite closely followed by The Birds.
Hitchcock—spy movie. His real name was Archie(Archibold) Leach—you don’t recognize @DonnaResist from Twitter yet? The purveyor of useless information floating around in my head. Here I’m

Cary Grant is one of the greatest Jewish actors of his generation. I knew him personally and he used to tell me how great it was being picked for a role over a goyim actor because of his Jewishness.#weownhollywood
My favorite movie of all times, starring my favorite actor from Hollywood’s Golden Age, plus Eva Marie Saint and James Mason. I always dreamed of meeting Cary Grant on a train.
I taught a Films course for years, and this was one I included in the Hitchcock unit. Watch kid eating in park cafeteria cover his ears before the gun goes off. Oops

Inject anything Hitchcock into my veins, but this one is so good.

Rear Window was a childhood favorite.
