In my experience, our education system is not at the same level as other countries (except for graduate schools, those seem far better), but college and HS need more funding. People often and erroneously assume that a college degree means someone studied a lot, it’s mostly beer pong 🤷♂️
I agree with that and at the same time I was underlying that it is an equal mistake to believe someone w/ a college degree is well educated - it is the general assumption even if you didn’t specifically mention college. Education here needs more funding & investment imo

My mother was one of the first nurse practitioners to graduate from Washington University in StL’s. My uncle was a highly respected public defender in Boston for decades. Both are MAGA. Education is certainly a factor for some, but not all. Neither are traitors. It’s more complex.
