Same. Boomer here. Inheritance as well. Started up SS. Changed my mind and sent a form in from SS to cancel but I think I’ve changed my mind. Going to take SS.
I have to limit my income as a massage therapist though. You cannot take SS and work over 21k per year. So I’m in the decision making process again. My SS benefit is only 2074.$ per month. I’m very healthy boomer and physically active so… part of me is wanting to wait part of me is not. …decisions.
I’m a late boomer, too, but my parents died years ago. Tiny inheritance allowed me to work part time for a year in 2007. Was able to take my late husband’s SS till I could take mine and now I’m look for part time work to supplement it and no one will give me the time of day. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

There already aren’t enough jobs where I live and if the rural hospital has to close we’re all screwed. I will have to hopefully sell our house (no mortgage) and relocate somewhere. We’ll end up living in a camper for a while.

After reading my post, I agree it was completely unclear.
Furthermore, no evidence of fraudulent behavior was provided. All DOGE claims, well, remained dodgy at best.
Their primary aim is to stop governmental probes into their (shady) businesses.
