Another tough season for the Daggers - I feel your pain. My boys support Exeter which is fan owned and I'd love to see that model become more common & successful.
They were Redbridge Forest when I started supporting them having been formed by merging Leytonstone & Ilford with Walthamstow Avenue - both clubs I would have loved to support representing where I grew up and went to school etc.
Absolutely, I have to confess it's a recent decision after a lifetime supporting West Ham but I just can't deal with the way money has taken over club identity in the Premier League. It's not football anymore. I grew up closer to the Daggers anyway.
United is unique because it's the only sports club in the world that makes everyone happy. If we win then United fans are happy, if we don't then everyone else is happy. No other club or team does that.
Everyone has a view on United; there is no ambivalence.
Longest item I have ever listened to about football. Brilliant.
Now reading up about the French revolution and wondering if you can still get Guillotines.
Probably on Etsy.
Ex-city fan here. Season ticket during 70s+80s (the years of decline). Got allergic to their spam; "Live The Dream", "Be Part Of It": no thanks, I just wanted to go to a game. So left them and it for more interesting stuff: work, family, mountains, cycling. My tip to MU fans: do something else.
Look at the state of chelsea, its not sport, it is just debt that will never be repaid with shisters skimming their bunce of the top.
The fact united went after the very lowest fruit in the club says it all about the state soccer is in

I agree money does ruin everything
I agree with every word.

And I couldn‘t care less about ManU, but your rage against billionaires ruining all we love is just brilliant!
