What was the purpose of the deletion? It seems like leaving the old tweets there would help more people find you there and find their way to your new home here.
Oh, interesting. I assume that all the major AIs will train on everything they can slurp off the internet, regardless of which platform it's posted on, and that old content mostly helps people find people to follow for new content, i.e. drives ~0 ad revenue itself. Hmmm.

I'm really starting to think that not penalizing links is one of the greatest benefits that Bluesky offers. Makes it such a good tool for discovering niche blog posts/tools and such.

I have been trying the same but even just browsing my likes to copy the relevant ones - I used them as bookmarks - keeps rate limiting me for 24 hours and then I can't see them anymore either on mobile or desktop. Did you delete your likes too or left them behind? 🤔

I didn't want Grok (which I think is irresponsibly managed as an AI tool) to be trained on my content.
I didn't want ads on that platform running beside my posts.

One thing that might effect the higher engagement on Blue Sky is the less saturated timeline compared to X.

Not sure about the QR code, but there is probably a library for that (based on the URL for the profile).
So I just deleted all the posts I could and put it into private mode.
