Looks pretty good! Definitely retro in a more authentic way than most faux-retro stuff out there these days.

*Sounds* good too. That kind of music wouldn't sound out of place in a PS1 RPG: and that's a high standard to meet.

I'm pretty familiar with the actual hardware of the PSX, so I'm being mindful of both what I could conceivably pull off of the real things & also watching footage of PSX games for inspiration ☺️

(I also composed this battle theme while studying Yasunori Mitsuda's work, as I think that embodies a style that I absolutely love. Otherwise, it's mostly AD80 GM soundfont by DaforLynx, a very mild bitcrush, and then a low pass on top to loosely replicate the sound of the PSX's gauss filter 😅)

I have a GitHub for this one but it's slightly broken, at some point I will backport my fixes to it though.

It is designed to emulate NTSC colors (RGB to composite signal then back to RGB), so especially in person with a high resolution monitor the classic dot crawl artifacts look *very* accurate
