Yeah. Back in the 90s I was a theatre kid. A lot of my friends became tech bros or academics. The tech nerds mostly drank the right-wing Kool-Aid bc of the right-wing’s masterful manipulation of libertarian-leaning folks. And here we are.
Oof. Once the teachers found me eating in the bathroom stall they took pity on me and let me eat in the science teacher's closet with the dead animals floating in formaldehyde. And I would just stay through recess too.
My son was a theater kid, spent lots of time driving them around, getting things for them, sitting waiting. Couldn't ask for a better group of people to be around.
I wish people know that this is a safe place to just create their own bubble and don’t need to go out 🫠…I can’t acting like what the “theater kid energy” actually is but like, what’s so hard about only following people they want and unfollowing people/feeds they don’t want to see 😩
I was a theater kid who also did debate. Several years ago, my debate/English teacher found me on social media & messaged me to say I was one of her favorite students because of how much I "thought outside of the box." It was so sweet. I had never realized I was so different, even back then.
Two of my granddaughters and one grandson are heavily involved in theatre. It has a fantastic energy. I wish my four daughters andI had been involved in high school theatre as well as student newspaper. We would not have had to struggle so hard to overcome our nerdy introversion
Now let's all go to McDonald's still covered in our stage makeup, & order their entire menu while singing actual or parody versions of the songs from the current play we're in!
I for one don't rate opinions from people who work for The Intercept on purpose but that's just me. The desperate energy of those guys is cringe as hell.

And yeah, you’re 1000% right.
I'm going to just say that's a good thing.
Zip!
I was in choir!!
Uh oh
Is that not where I recall you from? I’ve lost track of the many expeditions people made to find a new home.
Voted "most dramatic" for the senior year high school year book & still not sure whether or not it was related to my theatrical performances hahah.
Related: I was a goth kid.

our parties have better drugs and way more crying and deep deep conversation
Opposite to that, I’d always prefer “I am your density” chaotic energy
