Apparently I need to get over my "Rancho Gordo is too popular to be good" issues and buy the cookbook(s). (To be clear, I'm *in* the dang bean club, I have no leg to stand on for this attitude, and yet I can't shake it.)
Tell me oh bean master: I do a ton of stovetop beans, but people keep trying to get me to buy an instapot and use that. I figure, ehh, yet another appliance in my kitchen I'll almost never use. Thoughts?
Thank you so much for this...I love to cook for the family and want to move our diet in this direction, but was getting mentally blocked on finding quality, worthwhile recipes. Lots of vegetarian stuff I've found still leaves me hungry.
My adult daughter has a standing order for me to forward any bean recipes I try and like. (I just looked for Barrett's _Fagioli_ and can't find anything but an expensive used copy of the old edition.)
