I think a lot of why 2024 went the way it did is well-off people just not really thinking the stakes are real because they’ve been too comfy for too long and I wonder if a lot of (white) union rank and file had the same issue wrt their basic union protections.

Not gonna do the Rockwell painting guy but I think the Teamsters were justified in not endorsing. If anything, they should have endorsed Trump, since that's what a majority of members wanted.

Ds should mobilize their union organizers to message with this stuff NOW, not wait for the next election cycle. Trump will do all this stuff in the shadows+ blame reproductions on Ds. Lay the groundwork to neutralize the bad faith spin before it manifests.
