I'd argue the media only covers things that make the left look bad. If it makes the right look bad they twist it to make the left look bad. If they can't twist it they don't cover it.

I don't think it's to the same level as pre-election. I consume a lot of mainstream media, but also a lot of alt and grassroots and it isn't a close race. To say it doomed Palestinians to an even worse fate (Trump/Huckabee's plans) is true.

I don't believe they've stopped. But the size, intensity and yes... reporting of them has massively shrunk. They protested against the people they knew would care (Dems) but now the admin THEY HELPED USHER IN doesn't give a shit... so, why bother.
