How much does it suck to be a Lions fan? Vikings just fucking around this year and going for 15 wins, if we beat the Lions, their best season in the Super Bowl ends with the 5th seed.
This is where I had an epiphany earlier in the year. It’s stupid to talk yourself into magical shit like “this is our year!” or “we’re a team of destiny!” The better move is to just say “we’re good enough to win it all this year!” (which they are) and then see how it plays out from there
If/when the Vikings win tonight is it a good thing for them that their path to the Super Bowl potentially means a 3rd game each against two division rivals?
If someone told you a year ago that you were going to be counting on Sam Darnold to lock up the division, how would you have guessed this season on the whole would be going
@drewmagary.bsky.social - not lions/Vikings specific but it's kind of weird how the last week of the regular season has turned into basically 2-3 playoff games and then the rest are basically preseason games (large amounts of backups)
I'm a Jets fan in MN and I feel a kinship with both Lions and Vikings. Feel like a mom who just wants everyone to have a nice time. Who should I root for?
Not a question, just find it fun that every decade the Vikings have a season you could only dream up and lose in the NFC championship lose in gut-wrenching/embarrassing fashion
I wasn’t even trolling this time, it’s legitimately fascinating! And I’ve been just a little annoyed with the media basically telling me I’m supposed to root for the Lions
I’ve heard that line a lot though, because it’s a genuine trend. But it’s also a standard troll line, and it’s not relevant to whatever outcome happens here. Maybe they lose in the title game but I’m not gonna chalk that up to ghosts and shit
Is the black vs. white uni a sign that the Lions are the bad guys? How are we the bad guys??? We’re one of the saddest franchises is the sports world, we can’t be the bad guys after two and a half pretty good seasons.
That’s the biggest question. He wrecked them last game despite getting moved off of his spot, so Flores can either back off or say “well he can’t do that twice in a row.” I’m guessing they mix it up in the first Q and see if one way works better than the other
Looking up from the depths as a bears fan, the Lions have better offensive coaching/bigger balls while the Vikings have better talent. Both lines are amazing. I guess my question is eat shit, Green Bay or fuck Green Bay?
He’ll post yardage for sure so it’ll really be whether or not he turns the ball over, which he did in their first meeting. He’s vastly improved since then though
Since ‘92, Packers got 2 SBs, but had a lot of horrible losses. The Vikings have created an album’s worth of Paul Allen highlights for rival fans. Lions were last credible when we had separate bathrooms by race, yet Lions fans believe it’s a team of destiny. Aren’t they due to be humbled first?
I have read all the questions and answers. As a lifelong suffering Vikings fan, I find your lessez-faire attitude to be confusing, uncharacteristic, and somewhat encouraging. Are you on something and if so share with the rest of us.

Both in terms of the game and potential WYTS submissions, next year.
- Packers (2 vs 7)
- Commanders (2 vs 7)
- @Bucs (4 vs 5)
- @Rams (4 vs 5)
I believe starting a rookie QB can cause long term damage that taking a red-shirt year or two can mitigate.
Not looking forward to JJ with two or three years of seasoning.
And some oatmeal.
Does that do anything for you?
