I find myself reading it and smdh that most of these folks only got online once 33.6k or faster was a thing.

Not a lot of 300, 1200, or even 2400 baud there. Let alone 110, which tbf is a little before my time.

Weirdly, when I try to listen in my head I keep picking up Pitfall Harry's call.

The fact that everyone seems to identify the sounds mostly with 14.4kbps or faster modems makes me feel oooold.
