After the Brexit vote, a stereotype emerged of a Brexit voter based on place-based economic ideas. Far too narrow given the heterogeneity in the vote. Here we highlight the role of wealth (e.g. home ownership) as insurance in political choice, and show the relationship of wealth and Brexit support.

Nobody will admit to betraying their country.
Country estate - farm- Georgian town house-three bedroom semi - ex council house.
Brexit voters must be more commonly found in different house types, and there must also be different location related £values.
Dundee is one of the most deprived cities of Britain, and voted remain. As did Liverpool.
