Tennessee, Indiana and SMU were all correct choices to make the playoff.
Ohio State, Notre Dame and Penn State are all just really good teams.

Hindsight is always 20/20. So yes they were deserving teams. Who cares what Colin Cowherd thinks anyway! Not me!🙏💕❤️
Indiana went on the road against a team ranked above them and lost by ten.
Ole Miss went on the road against an unranked Florida team and lost by 7. Why is the latter fine but the former an indictment?
Also, idc about sports. My wife was watching it.
Sooo tired of hearing what Bama would have done.
Imagine if power rankings set the NFL playoffs seeds. Or if the Colts' cap was $10M and the Saints' was $200M and they played.
Even if they did, it still doesn't solve the competitive imbalance.
Probably very unpopular opinion, but my favorite era of CFB was the mythical national championship, 10 games on New Years Day. Usually, it was plenty obvious. I think it was a better product for the fans.
12 team playoff…Progress is better than stagnation. Hopefully, the committee continues to refine the process and continue to give us great college postseason football. 🏈
But, it’s also not surprising that teams ranked 5-8, are better than teams ranked 9-12.
Lots of people are overreacting.
And the defense they were trying man coverage on 4 NFL receivers. 🤣
earn home field.
SMU at Ohio State
PSU at Tennessee
Then we don't have such an insane quarterfinals between Oregon and Ohio State.
Tennessee's resume was WEAK though.
But they didn’t
The Should’ve Would’ve Could’ve
Might some other teams have put up better games? MAYBE. But those 3 were more consistently good. They earned their spots by not losing to multiple bad teams.
No playoff for you !
The resume matters.
Didn't know much about UT, but now I know.
Meh.
Watching this game and seeing what OSU is capable of, it makes the loss to scUM that much more agonizing.
In college football teams lose - even good teams. If OSU ‘owned’ IU by beating them, then the same applies to Mich beating OSU. 🤷🏻♀️
Hard Passsssss
Tennessee SUUUUUCKS and they beat Alabama.
South Carolina? Are you on drugs?
They played two ranked teams; beat one, lost to one. They also lost to a 6 loss team. They had the weakest resume and were WAY overseeded...obviously.
