Sport hasn't been the same since they removed the actual pits from the pit stop. Drivers had to consume fruit that would produce a half kilo of pits in order to come in and fuel up. Every team had their own fruit strats. Cherries, peaches, McLaren tried avocados once...

Instead of all these hilarious ideas they have one driver who is (not so secretly) unqualified and disinterested in F1. At random times he forgets to use his mirrors or simply rear ends the driver in front of him during a safety car caution. Any guesses who it is? Hint: Nepotism is at play.

I want to know why they're constantly limiting the tires and the types? And for qualifying, they have such short segments? I mean they're only given each driver maybe two chances in each of the three qualifying sectors? Why are they in such a hurry? All this tire stuff too. I don't get it

Limiting tires quantity and type helps keep costs down a bit and helps with their ecological impact. It also helps create different race strategies and pit stops in an effort to make racing more exciting at tracks where it has traditionally been difficult to pass.

I just wish there was a way to modify that track a little better. It's tradition I realize that but it's really really way too small and narrow for today's speed and bigness of the cars. Some people are saying they should drop it all together. I don't know. I think you need to keep the tradition

The cars are marginally smaller in 2026 and I hope that trend continues. They could institute a lap time minimum such as black flag for second infraction of failure to circulate at least 95% as fast as the leader. Or something similar. With exception if you are within 2 seconds of car in front.

I'm into Formula 1 BC these days. The cars are made of wood and stone and the drivers propel them with their feet. It's as authentic to the cavemen of those times as possible.
