My experience with several similar large corps. Progressive culture was real: NOT a joke. Company was not, however, structured like an army, ready to fight a literal Gen Z incel government—esp. one that might illegally arrest/harm staff. They're obeying in legit fear. Do I like it? Nobody does.

I mostly agree with this but I think their stance has changed from what I knew. The James Damore incident was a stake through the heart of Google's corporate culture. They never recovered.
