I actually don’t think that’s crazy or necessarily a betrayal. When Yang told his supporters to rank Garcia I don’t think she returned the favor, and they were on the same stage iirc.

From the very top, Dems’ only governing principle is careerism. They have no ideology. It’s why they consider ideologues within the party their greatest enemy- they threaten to organize the party around goals they could actually be held to, rather than organizing the party around themselves.
