Rather worried that the two sides at Trent Bridge might have agreed over tea to play out the draw. Felt as if neither team wanted the win once that last break arrived. Not great for the game or either side. I love a nail biting draw but some jeopardy (and ambition), please.

I do actually root for former Middlesex players. Ethan and Simmo are among my favourite players, and I was thrilled for Ethan when he hit the winning 6 v Durham. Such a gutsy, wholehearted player.

As a #WeAreSomerset fan the answer is "disappointingly". We desperately need a cutting edge to our bowling attack. Overton & Davey were at their best 3 seasons ago. Ball too. Aldridge is potent only sometimes. Leaving Gregory who has a chronic back complaint which demands care.
